Beginning my journey in academic research with an interest in attentional psychology, I received my B.A. at Simon Fraser University. This transitioned into a focus on neuropsychology and cognitive science, in which I completed an M.A. at the University of British Columbia. I began my career in clinical research at the University of Calgary in the Department of Psychiatry and Hotchkiss Brain Institute, at the Brain & Mental Health Research Clinics. I am excited to bring this experience to the Mathison Centre for Mental Health Research.
As the Clinical Research Coordinator for the Framework for Research in Emerging Adults (FREA), I am working with academic and clinical teams to improve the provision of mental health supports available for those aged 16-24. This is a unique and developmentally important period of life, which we hope to ameliorate by tracking patient outcomes, testing novel therapies, and engaging patients as partners in care and in research.
