I am a PhD student in the program of Molecular and Medical Genetics under supervision of Dr. Paul Arnold. My project involves the development of an approach to analyze paediatric genetic data from a collaborative study (funded by the U.S. National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH)).
I have earned my BSc degree in Bioinformatics at the Yerevan State University, Armenia, later on, I have worked on molecular dynamics simulations at the Bioinformatics Group at the National Academy of Sciences of Republic of Armenia. I have moved to Germany to obtain my MSc degree in Life Science Informatics at the University of Bonn, Germany. During my MSc studies I was working on psychiatric genetics at the Fraunhofer Institute for Algorithms and Scientific Computing (Fraunhofer SCAI), Department of Bioinformatics.
