Vision and goals The Neurogenetic Research Network of the Child and Youth Mental Health Program provides leadership, tools, resources, and policies in biobanking for the development of excellence biomedical research community, to enable translational research and precision medicine for patients. Dr. Paul Arnold’s Neurogenetics laboratory develops biorepository standards and facilitates Biospecimen resources that form the basis of evidence-based practices for the storage and guide of clinical and other psychiatric research.
Core areas of activity:
Development and continuous improvement of policy and ethics for collection and management of biospecimen resources
Support and develop the program that ensures the best practices for biospecimen collection, barcoding, scanning, handling and processing
